Vision Statement
Our Vision:
"The Central New Brighton School Community nurtures social, academic, and physical growth. As a friendly seaside school we value a safe, stimulating environment - working together to be the best we can be."
Central New Brighton School has a proud history; we look forward to a glistening future; and best of all we have a fantastic school right now!
Principal's Welcome
Welcome to Central New Brighton School. Our school provides a quality education for each student in a caring and supportive environment.
We are a small, family- like school. Our school nurtures and values a strong sense of community. Each of our students is an individual, valued, known and cared for by our staff. Parents are made to feel welcome. We encourage support from our community.
Our teachers are quality educators. During the past fifteen years of change in education Central New Brighton teachers have worked enthusiastically at embracing new initiatives ensuring our students have a quality education.
We offer innovative programmes of work to motivate and support our learners.
I invite you to come and discuss your child and their learning needs with e. I am sure you’ll be impressed with what we can offer.
Brian Thompson (Principal)
Chairperson's Welcome
As Chairperson of the Board of Trustees, I welcome you and invite you to experience the family feel and busy hum of our School.
Our Board of Trustees is made up of committed proactive members, all of us having our own children as either past or present pupils.
Student achievement is of the utmost importance and this is supported by our professional and passionate Staff.
Another focus is the beautification of our environment - with the erection of Shade Sails to become an accredited Sun Smart School, the conversion of our Coal Boiler to wood pellets, the facelift of our School swimming pools, and the continuing beautification of our grounds.
Our door is always open at CNB, you are Welcome anytime.
Liarne Tamaiparea.
