Formal reporting to parents is undertaken three times a year.
At the beginning of term one a 'meet the teacher' evening provides the opportunity for parents to pass information about their child to the teacher that may assist their child's learning. The teacher will outline class programmes and expectations for the year.
At the end of term two portfolios are sent home to show the work the children are doing, these are discussed at a one-to-one parent teacher interview to show learning to date and look at steps to be taken next for continued learning.
At the end of term four the portfolios are again sent home to show aspects of the year's work. This is accompanied by written report summarizing the year's work.
Parents are welcome to make an appointment with the teacher to discuss learning or behaviours at any time of the year.
